Krissie Illing est une des rares humoristes, qui a pu se faire un nom dans le domaine de ‘’l’humour’’, habituellement dominé par les hommes.

Issue de la tradition comique Anglaise, formée comme une danseuse presque classique des années 70 à la dentition de cheval, Krissie Illing interprète son personnage mythique de Wilma.

La presse allemande, pays où elle tourne depuis 21 ans, la décrit comme le rejeton de Jerry Lewis et Miss Piggy .

Ses sketches, comme son imitation de la reine d’Angleterre, sont hilarants, rapides et complètement déjantés.

1984 Together with Mark Britton, Krissie founds the comedy duo “Nickelodeon”
1985 Nickelodeon wins the “Street Entertainers of the Year” Covent Garden award sponsored by the London magazine “Time Out” and New York Magazine “Village Voice”
Which followed with a tour of New York clubs and playing at Times Square.
1986 Nickelodeon’s first theater show “Did You See That?” wins Critics Choice at the Edinburgh Festival and international recognition.Krissie_Illing-14
1986-90 Nickelodeon tour world-wide with invitations to open air events and theater festivals in Europe, North America, Japan and Hong Kong. Nickelodeon also plays on Virgin Airlines’ maiden flight from London to New York.
1990 WWF, a part of the Television Company WDR in Köln, produces Nickelodeon’s new comedy show. The Production “Dinner for Two” (written by Mark Britton and directed by Rene Bazinet - Cirque de Soleil) with its two characters William and Wilma, makes Nickelodeon the most popular and well known foreign comedy group in Germany.
The production goes on to literally hundreds of performances in Germany.
1991 Premiere of the third part of the William and Wilma trilogy “Great Lovers in History” in Grips Theatre, Berlin. This production was also written by Mark Britton and directed by Rene Bazinet. Once again the production is performed for years all over Germany and is a triumph with both public and critics alike.
All 3 of Nickelodeon’s theater productions have been filmed for television.
1992-1998 Two Babies produced by Krissie Illing and Chris Adams. One baby produced by Mark Britton and Barbara Britton. Blood sweat and Tours.
1999 After the sold out, month long production “Christmas Dinner for Two” in the “Fliegende Bauten”, Hamburg, Mark Britton and Krissie Illing dissolve their partnership on 31/12/99.
With her engagement in GOP Theatre, Essen, Krissie performs for the first time in variety theatre with her piece “Waiting with Wilma”. This results in further engagements in GOP Theatre in Hanover, Bürgerhaus am Seepark in Freiburg and a tour of Germany.
The piece is filmed by ZDF/3sat Television for the programme “Kleinkunstfestival”. After the sold out, month long production “Christmas Dinner for Two” in the “Fliegende Bauten”, Hamburg, Mark Britton and Krissie Illing dissolve their partnership on 31/12/99.Opherden_Krissie_Illing2000 “Wilma’s Wonderful Launderette” receives its premiere in “La Commanderie” Theatre, Vaour, France. This results in further performances in the Vaour and Aurillac Festivals.
2001 German premiere of “Wilma’s Wonderful Launderette”, further engagements in variety theatre and guest appearance in the TV show “Stratmanns” (WDR).
2002 Further performances of “Wilma’s Wonderful Launderette” and “Comedy Ladies Night” (a co production with Hertha von Schwätzig)
Short performance at the Freiburg Theatre Fair.
Nominated for the Prix Pantheon.
Guest appearances in the TV shows: “Horst pass auf” and “Kabarett Festival” (Germany/ WDR), “Comedy im Casino” and “Arosa Humorfestival” (Switzerland/ DRS FS).
2003 Tours with the productions “Wilma’s Wonderful Launderette” and “Comedy Ladies Night” in Germany and Switzerland.
Winner of the “Kleinkunst Festival” in Wühlmäuse Theatre, Berlin (live on RBB TV). Guest appearance in the TV show “Sonntags lacht / Wunderlandrevue” (SWR).
2004 Premiere of “Wilma’s Jubilee” in Freiburg’s Vorderhaus Theatre.
Tours with the productions “Wilma’s Jubilee” and “Comedy Ladies Night”.
Guest appearance in the “Kleinkunst Festival” in Wühlmäuse Theatre, Berlin (live on RBB TV).
Invited to the Comix Festival in Porto, Portugal.
Guest appearances in the TV shows “Lachen mit Lars” and “Wilma’s Jubilee” (HR), “Kleinkunstfestival 2004” and “Kurt Krömer Show” (RBB).
2005 Revival of the Nickelodeon production “Great Lovers in History” in St. Pauli Theatre, Hamburg.
Further touring with “Wilma’s Jubilee” and “Comedy Ladies Night”. Guest appearances in the TV shows “Mit 70 hat man noch Träume” as partner of Germany’s top comedian Dieter Hallervorden (ARD) and “Silvestergala” (ARTE).
2006 First engagement in Seattle’s Teatro ZinZanni U.S.A.
Nickelodeon play “Great Lovers in History” in Berlin’s Ti-Pi Tent.
Further touring with “Wilma’s Jubilee” in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Further touring in Germany with “Comedy Ladies Night”. Guest appearance in TV show “Spass aus Mainz. (SWR)
Revival of the Nickelodeon production “Christmas Dinner for Two” in Senftöpfchen Theater Cologne and Pantheon Theater Bonn.
2007 Further touring with “Wilma’s Jubilee” and “Comedy Ladies Night” Appearance on WDR TV Ladies Night. Return to Teatro ZinZanni San Francisco U.S.A. and a return with “Great Lovers in History” in Berlin’s Ti-Pi Tent.
2008 Further touring with “Wilma’s Jubilee” and “Comedy Ladies Night”.Krissie_Illing-16Returns to Teatro ZinZanni Seattle U.S.A.
